SFI NUM3 - Legume Fallow
Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) NUM3, Legume Fallow, requires a legume fallow that produces areas of flowering plants from May to August. NUM3 is a rotational action, and can therefore be carried out on the same area of land each year, or can be moved around the farm. The seed mix must contain at least 6 species, including legumes. The seed mix can also contain non-legume flowering species and grasses.
