AHW1 requires you to sow a mix which contains at least six flower species and six seed-bearing crops with a maximum of three cereal crops with a granted payment of £747/ha. The mix can be sown between early spring and early autumn with the main aims of providing a food source during the cooler months and to produce areas of pollen and nectar for pollinators.
