Hederifolium is pink with red eyes and silver spot leaves. Supplied as dry tubers, wild cyclamen extend the flowering season into the autumn.

Part of the buttercup family, Anemone nemorosa have soft, star-like white flowers which can be seen carpeting the woodland floor before trees burst into leaf. Flowering in mid-spring, wood anemones are the perfect accompaniment to bluebells. Rhizomes will benefit from being soaked in water for a few hours before planting.

The emblem of Wales! Tenby daffodils are lightly fragranced with nodding, yellow star-like blooms and a sign of the warmer weather to come. Particularly suited to growing on rocky ground, grasslands and in shadier areas, these smaller daffodils are perfect for naturalising.

The wild daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus) is a more delicate and graceful plant than its cultivated counterparts, also known as the  "Lent Lily". With a pale yellow perianth around a golden trumpet, the grey-green leaves of the wild daffodil are also distinctive.

With dense spikes of blackish-blue flowers, Muscari neglectum naturalises readily to create vibrant blue carpets of colour. These long-lasting blooms prefer open, well-drained soil and are very easy to establish.

Nodding Star of Bethlehem is a pretty, perennial bulbous flower. Each stem holds multiple bell-shaped white flowers with a green stripe down each tepal. Thrives in moist and well-drained soils and flowers mid to late spring.

Star of Bethlehem produces pure white, star-shaped flowers appearing in early summer with multiple blooms appearing from each plant.

Fritillaria meleagris produces pretty, pendent, maroon/purple bells on slender stems, emerging in early spring. These delightful wildflowers were once widespread throughout the UK and are perfect for naturalising in a moist woodland edge or wildflower garden where the soil remains damp during spring.

The Summer Snowflake, also known as the Loddon Lily (from the River Loddon in Berkshire), has large white bell-like flowers with green-tipped petals. Appearing in late spring this large wildflower is best suited to damp, well-drained soils.

Tulipa sylvestris is the only relative of the garden tulip found wild in Britain. Flowers in mid-spring with delicate yellow, lemon-scented flowers.
