SFI AHW3 - Beetle Banks
Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) AHW3 (2024), Beetle Banks, requires there to be an established grass sward comprising of fine-leaved grasses such as red fescue, and tussock forming varieties such as tall fescue, timothy and cocksfoot. AHW3 is a static action, meaning that it must be done on the same location each year. The area must be a raised earth ridge and sown with a grass mixture to provide nesting and foraging habitats for ground-nesting birds, small mammals and insects.
