SFI AHW2 - Supplementary Winter Bird Food
Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) AHW2 (2024), Supplementary Winter Bird Food, requires a supplementary feed to be fed to farmland birds over the winter until mid-spring (usually from early December to late April). AHW2 grants a payment of £732/t/yr and the feed must contain both cereals (making up 70% of the mix) and small non-cereal seeds (making up 30% of the mix). The mix must contain at least three of the following small seed species: canary seed, linseed, oilseed rape, red/white millet and sunflowers.
