Vetch, Tufted (Vicia cracca) Seeds

These showy spires of violet and royal blue have an airy quality that lives up to their alternate name, ‘Bird Vetch’, with its tube-shaped blooms and long, oval-shaped tendrils both appearing quite feathery. It’s quite a climber, and thrives the most when planted with other tall flora to support it. Sports the same, familiar seed pods as others in the pea family, but when ripe, they turn deep black!
